About

The Wakaba Girls (Fresh Leaf Girls) is a five-member all-girls band which represents Sakuragaoka High School's Light Music Club, replacing Ho-Kago Tea Time after the graduation of most of its members. It was founded by Azusa Nakano, who was also a member of After School Tea Time, and currently leads the band as its lead guitarist. Classmates Jun Suzuki and Ui Hirasawa, younger sister of After School Tea Time's Yui Hirasawa joined at the end of the series. Ui becomes a guitarist like Yui, playing the guitar.^[1] Jun continues to play the Bass, and Sumire Saitō joined after Tsumugi ordered her to take the Expensive Tea set in the clubroom (an excuse to make her go to the clubroom). Sumire took the role of the drummer. Nao Okuda, bearing no talent with musical instruments whatsoever, joined as a Productionist after Sawako showed her an example of a music software. It was later decided that Azusa will take on the role as the band's lead vocalist, further developments of the club are yet to be announced.

Azusa Nakano

Azusa Nakano (中野(なかの) 梓(あずさ), Nakano Azusa) also known as Azu-nyan, is a new student at Sakura High. She decides to join the light music club after seeing the band's performance in the school festival and becomes the group's rhythm guitarist.

Ui Hirasawa

Ui Hirasawa (平沢(ひらさわ) 憂(うい), Ui Hirasawa) is Yui Hirasawa's younger sister. Unlike her sister, she is a more mature person and handles household chores easily.

Jun Suzuki

Jun Suzuki (鈴木 純, Suzuki Jun) is Azusa's and Ui's classmate who often hangs out with the latter. Jun is generally a playful and easygoing girl, but she is sometimes rude without realizing it, which Azusa usually tries to correct her on.

Nao Okuda

Nao Okuda (奥田 直, Okuda Nao) is a first-year student of Sakuragaoka High School and is in Sumire's class. She is the fifth member of the Light Music Club under the leadership of Azusa, taking over the task of composing songs and other tasks using her laptop.

Sumire Saitō

Sumire Saito (斉藤 菫, Saito Sumire) is a shy blonde girl who attends Sakuragaoka High School as a freshman. She joins the school's Light Music Club alongside Nao Okuda, and meets Azusa, Ui, and Jun after Yui and the others graduate.
