Nodoka Manabe (真鍋(まなべ) 和(のどか), Nodoka Manabe) is Yui Hirasawa's childhood friend and is a member of the student council of Sakuragaoka High School.

CharacterEdit

Nodoka has always been a by the book, polite person. She is often annoyed by how the Light Music Club acts, especially Ritsu, who often forgets to fill application forms for events. Nodoka has known Yui since kindergarten, and both know everything about each other. Even though she constantly had to support Yui early on, she is glad to see that the Light Music Club gave her a motive to go with and is sometimes sad and happy about it at the same time. Nodoka utterly trusts in Yui when the latter really needs to accomplish something very important, like the second concert of the Light Music Club, solving the problem about her unknown career plans or the make up tests in their first year in high school.

She shares the same class as Mio Akiyama in their second year, who appreciates her companionship tremendously since being the only person Mio knows in her class. In her third year, she becomes the student council president and ends up in the same class as Yui and the others due to Sawako Yamanaka. She also becomes the president of Mio's fan club due to Megumi Sokabe begging of her to do so.

Appearance Edit

Nodoka has medium length brown hair and usually wears red glasses. Like all students of Sakuragaoka High School, she wears the school uniform. As a young child, she did not wear her glasses yet.
