The Mio Fan Club Freshmen are two unnamed girls, who are members of the Mio Akiyama Fan Club. They first appeared in the episode Tea Party!, where they both started stalking the Light Music Club room to have a glimpse of their idol Mio Akiyama (their real purpose was to see the sticker on Mio's hair). Their cover was blown by their club's president, Nodoka Manabe. They both fell on the floor and immediately introduced themselves as members of Mio's fan club. They brought snacks for the Light Music Club a few days later and also attended the Mio Akiyama fan club tea party.

The freshmen are two young girls who wear the Sakuragaoka High School uniform with green bows. Both have reddened round cheeks and black eyes. One of them has shoulder-length, dark brown hair while that of the other is short and has a light brown colour.
