Jun Suzuki (鈴木純) joins the Light Music Club after the seniors graduate and becomes the bassist for the band Wakaba Girls. She plays a rare, pearl-white coloured variant of the Yamaha SBV500, and her greatest influences are Ho-kago Tea Time's bassist Mio Akiyama, and her older brother Atsushi Suzuki. She's very playful and brash, often at the ire of the club's president, Azusa Nakano, and she has an undeniable presence wherever she is. Did you know that she can accurately predict the weather by checking how frizzy her hair is in the morning?

Have Some Tea?, composed by Hajime Hyakkoku, is an instrumental piece of background music throughout the K-ON! anime. It takes its place as the first track on the K-ON! Original Soundtrack perhaps because it exemplifies K-ON so well; a light, upbeat track with a quirky atmosphere. I wonder why the song's title is phrased as a question. We all know the answer is always yes.

With their senoirs on a field trip, what will Azusa, Ui, and Jun get up to while they're Staying Behind? Maybe they throw their own sleepover where we get to see them out of their normal school environment. Maybe they visit the arcade, where Ui hubmly shows off her superhuman baseball skills. Or maybe they hang out at school to feed the club's pet turtle Ton-chan before having a jam session with their instruments. Also notice that in this episode, Ui is comfortable playing the keyboard, yet when the girls eventually form Wakaba Girls, Ui takes up guitar.

- As the only member of the main cast without a known birthday, the month of June is being dedicated to the enthusiastic-yet-spacey Jun Suzuki, born, like the rest of her classmates, between April 1, 1992 and March 31, 1993. Longtime friend of Ui Hirasawa, Jun is also the bassist for Wakaba Girls and a former member of the Jazz Club.
- Happy birthday to the mature, responsible, and ever-dependable Ui Hirasawa, born February 22, 1993! Rhythm guitarist for Wakaba Girls and Yui Hirasawa's younger sister, Ui is also able to master nearly anything very quickly, although she herself does not tend to believe she is as skilled as she is.
- Happy birthday to Ho-kago Tea Time's shy-but-confident fan-favorite bassist Mio Akiyama, born January 15, 1992! While outwardly very mature, Mio may be the most girly member of the band internally, much to the amusement (and sometimes annoyance) of her best friend and HTT's drummer, Ritsu Tainaka. Since starting college Mio usually wears her hair in a ponytail.
